Updates

Okay...so posts aren't coming as quickly from me as I would like. Here's the latest updates.

The nursery is coming along well. I am fighting with a company that has provided my shelves because they are crooked (no, it's not me). When completed, I will post some pictures of the process and finished product. Actually, since it's just embarrassing how long this is taking me, I'll probably just post finished product pics. We'll see.

I am a little upset with all my brethren out there who have been through this first time father stuff before. Here I am all worried about if I'll be able to do this whole "Dad" thing, and not one of you told me there was an instruction manual out there. All joking aside, I just came across a How-To manual for being a Dad. It gives step-by-step instructions on how to do everything from changing diapers to feeding. It does NOT cover how to "deal with" a child, but it exactly what a man needs...a technical manual for kids. It even looks like an old 50's Boy Scout Manual. Neat. Part of me is excited about getting to "academic" part of parenthood, because I know it won't last long (and it can be done from the couch).

Still not smoking. My teeth are about to fall out of my skull with all the gum I'm chewing, but
I switched to sugar-free. Hopefully that will help. Surprisingly, I feel the least in-shape of my life, so I guess I'll have to just lose a hundred pounds or so, too. Check back in a few months on that...
